In comparison, the software does not have any disruptions due to weather, since the system does not require a dish hookup. The system uses several satellite systems around the world, so if one satellite is out the system can easily use another at a different location.
As stated above there are numerous valuable cost saving benefits of the software. Cable and satellite providers are desperately fighting to come up to par with this new system/technology.
