If you have been online for a while, one of the most well know ways of selling online is to build an optin email list or ezine. So now there are thousands of email ezines on just about every possible topic.

Hey- it is a proven tool, so you should use it however some ezine owners have a mental break down when they get some subscribers, its like AHA! Now I have your email address, I am going to sell you every affiliate program I can find.

Dont get me wrong ezines take a lot of time and effort to put together and its natural for the owner to make a few bucks for his effort. At the same time they should not try to rape your pocket at every chance.

This defeats the main purpose of the email list : to build trust. Lets put it this way, if every week I said “X” tool was the best, and every week a new tool or special, then it would not take look for the subscribers to work out- this guy is suggesting every tool that makes a buck- lose of creabilty in minutes is the result.

So lets set some rules for the list owner:

You own it - before you recommend something you should already own it, otherwise its like trying to tell somebody about a movie by looking at the posters out side.

Write a review - What did you like about the product/tool or service, but also what could be improved. What progress did you make from it? At the same time if you are still testing, say that too.

Be honest No product is perfect, is there something that could be added. In some cases maybe you created a spreadsheet or some kind of form to help the product work better- offer this as a special bonus, if someone orders- just get them to forward the receipt of purchase to you and you will send the helpful form.

Be focused- Joining 100 affiliate programs will not help- focus on a few good ones and then repeat them at different times in your ezine- let your subscribers know that they are good tools, and they will thank you for it

Take a stand I have to give credit to the publisher, Jim Edwards for this one- If you have tried something and it didnt work let your subscriber know, together with why you think it didnt work- try to keep it very factual with numbers.

Stay in for the long haul Take time out to work out that things take time, and marketing online is no different. It can be very low cost compared to a business online but it takes time and effort to work.

Ask and accept feedback- Using email is very efficient for this, but at the same time you need to offer reason, a gift of some sort in exchange for feedback-everybody is short of time. Let your subscribers tell you what they need.

Balance - If you always offer freebies, and then decide to sell something, your subscribers may not be very responsive.

I guess the short end of it is mutual respect between the subscribers and the ezine owner. The subscriber has trusted you with his email information, you as the list owner needs to respect this information.

Psoriasis is a debilitating skin condition that can affect the elbows, knees, scalp, lower back, face and indeed, any part of the body., including the genital area.. It may also affect the fingernails and toenails making them thick and discoloured. The condition is evidenced by red scales and inflammation of the skin which becomes very itchy and distressing.

This occurs when the cells of the skin rise too quickly from their source below the surface of the skin before maturity. There is often a family history of psoriasis. Around thirty percent of sufferers will also experience joint inflammation and this condition is called psoriatic arthritis.

I was in my early twenties when I became aware of a reddening of my elbows and knees. At first, I took little notice but then the scaly patches and the itching began. These then spread to my knuckles, ankles and some small patches on the lower legs. No amount of moisturising lotions or the like seemed to make any difference. Finally, I went to my physician who diagnosed my condition as psoriasis.

I began a regime of applying corticosteroid lotions and creams and using coaltar solutions to the affected parts of my body but even these appeared to have little effect.

At times, I experienced significant physical discomfort. Itching and pain interfered with basic functions, such as sleep. This in turn left me feeling constantly tired and unable to cope with day-to-day chores, thus putting a strain on my family relationships. I began to feel self-conscious about my appearance and had a poor self-image that stemmed from fear of public rejection. Psychological distresses in turn lead to significant depression and social isolation.

Sometimes the condition got worse and then improved so I was then able to identify a number of things that produced flare-ups including infections, stress, and climate changes. There were also certain medications that seemed to trigger outbreaks or worsen existing patches.

The years rolled by and the disease continued to progress until I had large patches of psoriasis on my knuckles, elbows, finger joints, knees, lower legs, feet, and even the webbing of my toes. I also had it in my scalp and covering a large portion of my back. I lived in misery with the constant itching and discomfort.

Around six months ago, I received a phone call from my mother telling me she had just been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. Because this condition is genetic and I already had the skin condition, it was important that I see a rheumatologist to be tested. Of course, it was no surprise when I found that I too had psoriatic arthritis.

Blood tests conducted for this condition may rule out other conditions such as gout or rheumatoid arthritis. There is a particular antibody normally present in rheumatoid arthritis that is not present in psoriatic arthritis. These tests will often also show elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate or ESR which measures inflammation. They often show mild anaemia and elevated levels of uric acid.

My rheumatologist prescribed Methotrexate, an immunosuppressive drug. This medication has been used very successfully in the treatment of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. I take a low dose of this drug once weekly.

Methotrexate works by binding to and inhibiting an enzyme involved in the rapid growth of cells, thus slowing down the rate of skin cell growth. It was originally used in the treatment of cancer but was discovered in the 1950s to be effective in the treatment of psoriasis and was eventually approved for use in this condition in the 1970s.

Methotrexate is generally well tolerated in small doses but it does potentially have a number of side effects. For this reason, it is imperative that a patient on this drug follows the instructions of their physician very carefully. People taking this medication need to have regular blood tests to be sure that the body is processing the drug safely and not creating other problems, particularly in the liver.

I have been on Methotrexate now for around four months. During the first six weeks or so, I noticed little reduction in my pain levels although the skin condition did show signs of subsiding. However, in the past couple of months, my need for painkillers has definitely been reduced and the skin condition is almost gone.

My family laugh when they see how excited I get about having knuckles now instead of great patches of scales. I can even go barefoot without the embarrassment of the condition in the webbing of my toes. Some people used to think I had a severe case of tinea and would look at me as though doubting my hygiene habits.

The only downside I have is a feeling of tiredness and the fact that I am prone to infections. This is caused by a reduction in my white blood cell count. However, under careful monitoring by my doctor, these symptoms are reduced by antibiotics when needed and a good multivitamin.

Despite these downsides, my life has greatly improved and continues to do so. I am kept aware of all the possible side effects and regular blood testing keeps my physician and my rheumatologist informed about any concerns. Hopefully, I will be able to live a far better quality of life in the future.

I like decorating my kitchen with a cozy, warm, inviting, homey feeling to it. Usually I’m fighting for all the space I can get in my kitchen too. If you’d like to try this style yourself, you need additional space, or if you simply want to create a different look and feel to your current kitchen decorating style: here are a few tips for you to try.

1. Hang your pots and pans on the wall. This works whether you have a matching set of pots and pans, or whether it’s an eclectic collection gathered over the years. Simply put hooks in the wall, then hang the pots by their handles with the bottom facing outwards. This is particularly useful for space saving and organization too. My favorite location to hang the pots and pans is on the wall right above the stove. If you have the room, this puts the pots on display nicely while keeping them right on hand for cooking.

2. Hang your potholders and hotpads on the wall. If your pans are too heavy to hang safely, or you simply don’t want them on display, or you’d like to add other embellishments to your hanging pots arrangement - potholders work quite well as kitchen wall decorations too!

3. Hang your trivets on the wall. Another great way to decorate while saving space and keeping useful kitchen essentials right on hand, is to hang your trivets on the wall. A collection of antique trivets makes an especially nice kitchen wall arrangement, but modern ones work really well too. Use solid colors or patterns to match the rest of your kitchen decor, or choose trivets that have pictures on them so your kitchen wall will have pictures on it when the trivets aren’t in use.

Other things I like to hang in the kitchen for both space saving purposes, decorative accents, and to have on easy hand at all times include: a manual can opener, measuring cups and spoons, serving utensils, and coffee mugs. These items usualy hang under my cabinets because they don’t work well on the walls.

So there you have it. Use what you already have hidden away in the kitchen to create a cozy, warm, inviting and decorative kitchen atmosphere!

A companies base strategy establishes the crucial foundation upon which to plan and build a competitive advantage. It represents the game plan that focuses on how you will succeed in your current business environment. It details how you will leverage your strengths and minimize your weaknesses versus the competition; once established it will serve as a guideline for overall decision-making, resource allocation and new product or service development. In general there are many basic strategies that a company could follow however for the sake of this analysis I will focus on five.

1. Commodity Driven Strategies are typically used when your product or service is essentially the same as others on the market; in this strategy pricing is typically used to differentiate your product or service from that of the competition. Using this strategy requires that you have the lowest unit cost and low margins; profits will be earned through high volume rather then high profit margins.

2. Technology Driven Strategies focus on a companies ability to gain a temporary monopoly in the market through the development of new technology. Technology driven strategies often require huge investments in research and development. Continued success of the strategy will be dependent upon the coordination of emerging technologies with breakthrough thinking.

3. Quality Driven Strategies are driven by the assumption that a product or service is superior in quality as compared to the competition. This strategy requires that you pursue continuous improvement, that you identify quality indicators such as re-work, warranty issues etc. and that you have systems in place so as to assure that your product or service continues to maintain superiority in the marketplace.

4. Service Driven Strategies are used when a company finds itself in a position of being unable to differentiate its products or services in terms of price, technology or quality. In general this strategy focuses on the value-added elements and benefits of doing business with you, such as convenience, guarantees, delivery; value added elements are driven by your customers and there perception of what is important to them.

5. Customer Driven Strategies place a premium on going above and beyond customer expectations; the focus is on always exceeding your customers expectations. It requires a commitment to ongoing improvements to quality and service. It demands that each and every person associated with your business be trained and empowered to address customer satisfaction.

So you have decided that your town or community could do with a good daycare center and now you are wondering how to get started. There are several important things to think about before you should start doing anything:

1. Setting

Is this going to be a home-based business or will it be a daycare center with its own discrete location? If you plan on running your operation at home, consider the expenses: will you need to do any remodeling to make managing an orderly and safe daycare feasible? Is there anything in the house that could be damaged or that could be harmful? If you want to go the other route and have your own separate daycare center, the best option here is to find a small building somewhere near a residential area and rent it out. This is very important as you do not want any starting investment to be ruined because you violated a law. This can be very area-specific so it is recommended that you sit with an attorney to discuss legal matters, but generally you will need a business license as well as some kind of certification that recognizes your institution as a legitimate daycare center or home-based business.

3. Management

Who will be running the center? Will you need to hire helpers or will this be a family-oriented advent? Be sure to keep on top of this form the start because you can easily find yourself in over your head if you do not have enough help and keep track of expenses very well and how they are distributed to your employees if you have any.

Guitar chords, (chords played specifically on a guitar,) differ only from other types of chords by virtue of instrument; they’re simply a series of three or more notes played together. These notes don’t necessarily have to be played simultaneously, however.

Broken chords (also referred to as arpeggios) are three or more notes that aren’t played at the same time but closely enough to still be heard as a group or whole. And even the three-note rule is open to the occasional exception; some guitar chords consist of only two notes, but they still function as chords because they work diatonically in the same way that a major or minor chord would.

Guitar chords might very well be the most important element of guitar playing; after all, they’re the basis of what makes a song. Most people picking up a guitar for the first time figure out a few guitar chords before even going for their first lesson, and still more teach themselves guitar chords without any help from an instructor. Self-taught guitarists learn guitar chords in a number of ways. Some learn by listening to their favorite songs and slowly picking out the notes, a common yet often frustrating process. Others figure out guitar chords by learning to read guitar tab, a type of sheet music intended for fretted instruments that uses a graph-like chart to show where on the frets the fingers are placed. Both techniques are common among those learning guitar chords, though the number of self-taught guitarists who never learned to read tab is fairly high.

Just like any other instrument, the sheer number of possible guitar chords can often be overwhelming for a new guitarist. And even the frequently taught guitar chords are beginning to fall by the wayside, making room for a variety of guitar chords created by tuning the strings in almost innumerous ways. Though power chords (guitar chords using a base note, an octave note and the fifth) are still the most common type of guitar chords, new bands are increasingly experimenting with alternate tunings to create new sounds; alternative bands have been toying with this way of playing interesting guitar chords for decades.

So how many chords does a guitarist really need to know?

Most simple songs contain just 3 chords called primary chords. So even a stark beginner can learn 3 simple chords well enough to strum along and accompany himself as he sings. But after that, the sky is the limit there are thousands of possible chords, so it is up to the individual guitarist as to how many he or she want to master.
